With WWF Raw and WCW Nitro going head to head every Monday night, fans had to choose which show they'd watch as both companies tried to put on their best show week after week. Reliving The War looks at every match and promo from Raw is War and Nitro (on a weekly basis) to see which show was truly the best. On WWF Raw is War, Mankind sends a message to Steve Austin. While wearing an Austin 3:16 shirt and a sign that says "Pick me Steve" around his neck, Foley battles The British Bulldog while still hoping to becoming Steve's tag team partner. Bret Hart returns to Raw and he has a confrontation with Tommy "Hitman" Hearns, and the WWF also put on their first ever televised Triple Threat match. Ahmed Johnson is in attendance and he explains why he joined The Nation of Domination. On WCW Nitro, DDP gets a main event match against Scott Hall.
