One useless most of all meaningless movie ever. I was trying to wrap my head around something but it gave nothing but a waste of time. Don't waste your time!!!
source: Royalteen: Princess Margrethe
This film picks up right where Royalteen left off, with Princess Margarethe face down in the middle of the prom. I am a massive fan of the Norwegian series Skam, which is how I watched Royalteen in the first place and while that one dealt with some darker values...I felt like this was a much weaker film as we deal with the twin sister Margarethe. Margarethe is supposed to be the picture of the perfect royal, but she is not. I failed to connect with the message almost immediately as I don't perceive Margarethe as anywhere near perfect...even in her obligatory appearances. She is a titled, spoiled rich girl who wastes her time on drugs, alcohol, pity parties, and being spectacularly awful to people. She has a friend who wants to be a famous dj which she encourages (the only nice thing she does in the film) and she wastes even more valuable time by offering herself up to the Danish prince and then a random Good Samaritan. Her big amazing "shocking" moment did not seeing shocking let alone interesting. Whereas Royalteen had some redeeming qualities...this film does not. I am afraid this is not a recommendation from me.
This movie is better than the first one. I love the characters, but I didn't get the story. I don't know what are you trying to tell the audience. I don't see the point. I understand, you trying to let people know about princess Margrethe, but some scenes, let's say 'many scenes' isn't necessary at all. After I watched it, I confused. I don't know who's the main lead male. You brought the prince from Denmark I thought he was the one. But nah. Okay you brought someone from the street, he is gentle, kind, I thought he was the one also. But no! There's no the right person I thought. I don't know why you brought that guy on the show. To show Magrethe's feeling? NO! You can make better alternative ways for this. At least, her friend (I don't even recognize him) ended up with her, i was surprised. I know he's kind sweet person, but the show didn't let me know him much as it should so I didn't care about him much. Btw, I love lead actress very much. She's pretty, I love her acting. She showed me a incredible performance. I love her facial expression. I love how brave she is. She's my favorite character i can tell. I hope my reviews won't hurt anyone. I didn't write it with hatred or anger. Just gave you my opinion. Everyone has their own perspective. God bless you all.
