First of all, if you're looking for a horror movie then this isn't the one you're searching for. I have absolutely no clue why it is categorized in this genre. That said if you're looking for a good drama about a problem that reoccurs every year and not only in America like some other reviewers seem to think, then Rushed might be right up your alley. It's about fraternities and their dumb macho behavior seeking to humiliate freshmen. To be honest I always had a problem with that, certainly with some bullies that think they are better than anyone else. Those big mouths always feel powerful in front of a group, but alone, when it's man to man they are the biggest wussies you can imagine. I can speak from experience, as I tamed more than one of those losers. That said the movie is entertaining to follow, with a great Siobhan Fallon Hogan as the main character. It could have been much better though, with a better ending, but it's still satisfying, just not satisfying enough for me. It could have been a horror in the end, but for that the ending should have been more graphic and brutal, now it felt a bit soft.
Entertaining film that kept us on the edge of our seat! Good look into the issues with hazing in frats and the severe consequences. The story line pulls at your heart strings and dives into understanding the lengths one might go for the people you love.
It was an emotionally compelling movie. There were some plot holes near the end, but none that ruined the movie. The acting was first rate and the directing was wonderful The time spent to show that the mother was just a normal Mom who loved her kids and lived an unassuming life was extremely well done. The turn that Siobhan takes is a tough one to make and she did so flawlessly. It is a performance worthy of Oscar consideration.
Great movie with an important story that needs to be told. The audience becomes drawn into the life of lead character, Barbara, as she navigates through tragedy. Siobhan Fallon Hogan's performance as an ordinary woman pushed to her limits to find justice for her son is outstanding and we the audience become completely invested. Well worth the watch.
An emotionally compelling story that does not disappoint. Siobhan Fallon Hogan's portrayal of a grieving mother's search for justice is powerfully moving. This is a must see movie you can not miss!
Powerful and unfortunately too often true story about the sometimes dysfunctional fraternity system and the lack of serious oversight and accountability for many bad actions. Then expected storyline turns into a completely unexpected thriller with an ending no one expected. Very well done and some haunting background music too.
Loved it! Unexpected ending...story that needs to be told.
The message of hazing is a very important story to tell and I am so glad Siobhan Fallon Hogan did. Heartfelt yet capturing storyline. Very worth the watch!!!!
Pretty forgettable drama, incorrectly listed as horror/mystery as it contains neither. Not that it is a particularly bad film, just not a particularly good one either. You would not regret missing it.
Great movie start to finish and great performances all round.
