A 5-time world champion, Saulo is also a record holder of world titles in different weight classes (4) as well as a 2x ADCC champion – arguably the most important no-gi tournament in the world. Saulo and his younger brother Alexandre Ribeiro founded Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most respected associations in this martial art. One of the most exciting grapplers to have ever stepped on a mat, Antonio Schembri also known as ‘Nino’ Schembri is a jiu jitsu black belt under Carlos Gracie Junior, who blasted into the BJJ scene in the mid 1990’s competing for the Gracie Barra academy. Nino Schembri quickly made a name for himself as the king of the omoplata, a game he developed making better use of his highly flexible and offensive guard game, being also one of the first grapplers recorded using the ‘lasso guard’ and the ‘rubber guard’.
