Here's something perhaps even more crazy - Sagat had a huge influence in MMA. Tristar Gym/coach Zahabi​ studied under Sagat personally, for months at a time when only few foreigners were accepted. At the highest levels of MMA, Georges St-Pierre​ and Rory MacDonald​ used many of the techniques learned from Sagat.
