Back bone of the movie was well written story and racy screenplay . First half was totally intriguing right from the movie started . H. Vinoth delivered a good social message in sensible way Gibran songs and bgm were good , well contributed to the movie . Ajith Kumar presence and his character great . Opening action sequence and post interval action sequence were well choreographed . Cons - Making was bit average . Technical wise cinematography was okayish and below average editing . Second half had few lags , especially flashback sequence were speed breaker . Climax was totally over the top and clumsy . Verdict - Overall except few flaws , a well written commercial action thriller with good social message to watch . ( Hari kinda making were both positive and negative to the movie )

Thunivu tries to be like Mankatha and fails miserably, music is not good and climax is the biggest drawback and illogical concepts related to bank fraud, credit cards etc. The hero ridden with bullet scenes, stabbed multiple times and still carry Manju warrier then gets hit by car, the car then explodes but the hero still survives, what more for all the killing the hero does he walks away free. The hero crossing the border using a small boat etc such scenes make the movie worse and beast movie was far better then thunivu, hope heros like ajith stick to scripts where they can be meaningful and enjoyed by family instead of mindless bullets, bombs exploding and make it cringe worthy to watch. Give it a miss guys its not worthy of your time.

Perfect Content Action Packed.. #HVinoth Made his Mass writting with Many Great Dialogues to People... #AK's one of the best performance #Gibran's music is good Its an all in all AK madness. His swag, his way of firing with the guns, his evil calculative smile , his anger, AK was being untied and gave the complete freedom by the director to do what he wants. That was the feeling post watching his performance. 1st half as director claimed its for Thala fan, I will say that its for all those who love mass & 1st half was awesome. 2nd half it was a mixture. As H. Vinoth in his Galatta Plus interview stated that he stress on giving information on a specific subject through his interview & that what we could see in 2nd half. The financial scams, the bank issues etc blended with the cinematic ingredients, movie throws out to be a watchable flick. Overall Thunivu is a mass entertainer backed by a relevant message.. Worst script and dialogues. Only for AK. H.vinoth is poor writing in the script. Production house promotion stratagy is waste. Worst script. Bank set real la illa. Set nu nalla theriudhu. Waste of time and money. Beast movie is better than this movie. Climax is better to write. Climax is the main flaw of the movie. Waste fellow of the direction And the director is wasted Worst screenplay worst movie cinimatography Worst fight scenes Highly disappointed on the gun shoot sequence Waste climax Climax is better to change in the script Heroine in the script very worst writing AK acting only supper but other are zero act.

First half full of Ajith Mass Action and Ajith fns Will love it That michael jackson Steps was Ultimate Nd intermission was Net and Good 2Nd half is full of H vinoth movie which is Content oriented so may be for some audience it may not connect but the Issue which we are facing in the banks are clearly explained And Vinoth delivered that and AK dance in Chilla Chilla Song was Ultimate VeraLevel and Michael Jackson steps also good Over all my opinion is it is a pakka family Entertainment movie And if u like Ajith Im sure u will love this movie It is Sure a Blockbuster movieIf u have seen the film.

Like it's protagonist & his team (aka family), even Thunivu's screenplay follows the KISS policy - Keep it simple, silly. The bank heist plan to steal 500cr goes haywire when another team led by the Devil himself take over the heist with eyes on far bigger amount and deeper motive. Who is this Devil and why is he involved in the heist forms rest of the story. With AK leading from the front, Thunivu has a solid first half getting everything right from his intro to using his swag to kickstart the story. There is a barely a dull moment here. It is the second half which is over simplified with two back to back flashbacks where H. Vinoth let go of his inner Atlee. It brings a major tonal change and the attempt to bring in a strong yet emotional justification to the hero's actions turns out to be too desperate. It messes up the flow big time. Also the oversimplification of the issue highlighted here, makes the action that follow look silly. If only things could be resolved in such a simple manner. The supporting cast gets badly sidelined in the second half and the prolonged action sequence in the climax doesn't help the proceedings. One cannot help wishing for a better second half as the current one simply doesn't do justice to the entertaining first half.

A total treat for Ajith fans and neutral fans of commercial cinema. AK has the charisma and swag nature of the character to a tee. Apart from a couple of choreo pieces in fights, most action scenes are just explosives, be it from guns or bigger guns. Manju is a badass like AK , brought her coolness to the game. Comical characters sheds light on fraud journalism just as Vinoth goes on to unravel the dark side of banking. Sure certain moments of revealing "who's who" could have been served at a slower pace in the midst of the frantic heist tussle. A fun joy ride, mass cinema can be done right.

Neither Mankatha nor Arrambam, but it is much more than that ! As the director rightly said, both the Hero and Villain is Thala !! Well-written action-socio-political thriller. Bullet pace first half with mind-blowing action layers (best in recent years) and meticulously conceived second half with brilliant dialogues. Literally zero deviations with a great back story about crimes involving financial institutions (H. Vinoth is well and truly back). Only glaring issues were the rushed climax and average VFX but they could be ignored. With everything said, this movie will achieve the biggest blockbuster status due to the grey characterization and performance of Swag Max, Verii Max, Baddie Max Ajithkumar. A whole seperate write-up is needed to describe his charisma and badass portrayal ! This all-out OG mode is all we were craving for in the last few years. GO FOR IT !
