Taking place in Jacksonville, FL, Greed features a Scott Steiner vs Diamond Dallas Page main event where Page has to win in order to stop Big Poppa Pump's recent onslaught. Steiner has destroyed everyone placed in front of him and Page is the last hope for the good guys; if Steiner wins then he's beaten every top babyface in the company in the span of a few short months. Elsewhere on the card WCW turns back the clock when Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair step inside the ring one last time - Dusty's teaming up with his son Dustin to face Flair and Jarrett in the semi main event.
