This is when Kofi Kingston got his revenge against Dolph Ziggler. In July 2010, Kofi faced Dolph in a non-title match. Vickie promised Dolph a title shot if he beats Kofi. Dolph was talking to Vickie who was at ringside and Kofi hit him with the Trouble in Paradise to win the match. Then Dolph and Vickie started arguing. They had another non-title match three weeks later with the same promise. Vickie caught Kofi’s leg, Dolph hit him with the zig zag, caught him with a sleeper hold, Kofi passed out and Dolph won. Then he taunted Kofi with his title. They had another non-title match next week. The ref was distracted and Vickie slapped Kofi. Kofi instantly lost it, he got really aggressive, he wouldn’t stop assaulting Dolph and got disqualified. Then Kofi threw him over the announcer table, threw him into the barricade and he had to be stopped by the officials. They met for the title next week. Kofi hit Dolph with the Trouble in Paradise, Vickie distracted the ref and Dolph hit Kofi with the Zig Zag to win the title. Then Kofi attacked Dolph, threw him onto the announcer table, threw him onto the steel steps and had to be stopped once again. Dolph was celebrating next week, Kofi attacked him and had to be stopped again. Teddy Long came out and gave Kofi a rematch at Summerslam, where The Nexus attacked both of them, ending in a no contest. They had a rematch on Smackdown. Vickie threw Kofi off the turnbuckle, ending in a DQ. Kofi went after Dolph and Vickie didn’t let him pass. Dolph attacked Kofi, hit him with the Zig Zag and put him to sleep. They had a rematch next week. If Dolph gets disqualified, he will lose the title. They knocked down each other outside, Kofi got inside, Vickie stopped Dolph from entering and he got counted out. Then Kofi started running after Dolph through the crowd. Two weeks later, Dolph and Chavo Guerrero faced Kofi and Chris Masters. Kofi hit Dolph with the Trouble in Paradise to pin the champion. A week later, Kofi got a shot at the title and if Dolph gets counted out or disqualified,
