This is when Randy Orton tried to end Shawn Michaels’ career. In May 2007, Michaels faced Edge in a non-title match. Michaels hit Edge with the Sweet Chin Music to win the match. Randy assaulted him, hit him with a low blow and followed by the punt kick, giving him a severe concussion. Michaels fought like that at Judgment Day, he eventually fainted, the ref stopped the match and Randy caught him with the RKO. Next day on Raw, Randy said we saw Michaels for the last time. Five months later in October, John Cena suffered an injury, his WWE Title was vacated on ECW, Vince awarded it to Randy at No Mercy, Triple H took it from him and then Randy regained it. Next day on Raw, Vince demanded the whole roster to celebrate Randy’s title win. Vince wanted Triple H to shake Randy’s hand and he wasn’t there. Vince wanted Randy to go after him and went he went up the ramp, Michaels made his return. Michaels assaulted Randy and hit him with the Sweet Chin Music. A week later, William Regal said that Randy will face all three of his potential opponents from Cyber Sunday. First one was Jeff Hardy. Mr. Kennedy distracted Jeff, Randy knocked him down and hit him with the RKO to win the match. Then Randy faced Kennedy, where Jeff attacked Kennedy, ending in a DQ. Michaels said he will take the title from Randy and they met in the main event, where Kennedy attacked Michaels, ending in a DQ. Randy joined the assault, Jeff came out for the save, Randy threw him out of the ring, went for the RKO on Michaels, who pushed him into Kennedy and hit him with the Sweet Chin Music. Next week, Kennedy and Jeff started brawling. Randy came out to help Kennedy, Michaels assaulted him and Randy ran backstage. Then there was a tag team match. Jeff hit Kennedy with the Swanton Bomb to win the match. Randy went for the RKO on him and Michaels hit him with the Sweet Chin Music. Michaels had the most votes at Cyber Sunday. Randy hit Michaels with a low blow, ending in a DQ. Randy went for the Punt Kick and Michaels hit him with the Sweet Chin Music.
