YEAR IN REVIEW | The WWF in 1990 (Full Year Documentary) The year 1990 brought us a lot of great things, in the world of film we were first introduced to the likes of Home Alone and Goodfellas, in Television, we saw the early episodes of Seinfeld, meanwhile in the WWF, Hulkamania was still running wild, and a new challenger emerged as the new decade began. However, in many ways it was a strange year for the promotion, yes, it was supposed to be a traditional year, the passing of the torch from one top star to the next right as the company was moving away from the 80’s and into the 90’s. Of course, as much as things change though, they always stay the same, and come December it looked very much like we were heading back towards the old status quo again. But that’s not to say there weren’t some big moments during the first year of the 90’s, with one particularly game changing debut being saved right for it’s tail end.
