A handshake at the start of this 1 fall contest sets the tone for the match to follow. Indeed, the match official has little to do during the action other than counting pin attempts or checking for a submission. The opening moments of the bout see a back and forth exchange of armlocks, as each woman vies for control. As the match progresses, this back and forth develops into more robust holds.
