Love can arise intentionally or, as the case is, accidentally. “Chehra Noor Sa” focuses on the fortuitous through the lyrics of Shabbir Ahmed which express the mesmerizing beauty of a beloved through a lover’s eyes. The man in question always believed that he had seen all the beautiful faces that ever existed but, as luck has it, he chances to partially glance at one that he believes is better than the best, resulting in a perpetual day dream about her as he finally sees her full face as her veil gets lifted while the wind is blowing… Composer Siddharth Kasyap’s creation receives justice in the voice of Shahid Mallya along with the haunting sound of flute performed through the talent of Rakesh Chaurasia and backed by Vinnie Hutton’s guitar playing which, combined, adds to the appropriate romantic flavour to the sleek, state-of-the-art track that results in irresistible pop pleasure. The key to the success of “Chehra Noor Sa” remains Siddharth Kasyap’s composition – with a lilting piano interlude – wherein he brilliantly chooses to concentrate on balladry and sparkly mid-tempo pop, peppered with a few stylish percussive grooves.
