Christmas at Imperial

Our university Carol Service is sung by the students of Imperial College Chamber Choir and led the Imperial Chaplaincy. We are delighted to have a new piece of music by Ed Newton-Rex commissioned specially for this service. The service has well-known carols sung by the congregation. The festive Christmas music sung by the choir includes; ‘In the Stillness’ by Sally Beamish ‘Peace on Earth’ by Errollyn Wallen ‘A Nywe Werk’ by Séan Docherty ‘A Spotless Rose’ by Herbert Howells ‘O Magnum Mysterium’ by Ola Gjeilo. The Musical Director is Patrick Allies. The service is a part of an annual cycle of Choral services offered by the partnership of the Imperial College Chamber Choir, Chaplaincy and Holy Trinity Church. Staff and students who were filmed tested negative for COVID-19 at the time of filming.
