Publisher's Summary Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of My Story by Steven Gerrard, read by Michael Ryan. Steven Gerrard is the former captain of Liverpool football team and of the England national football team and is the only player ever to have scored in a FA cup final, a league cup final, a UEFA cup final and a champion's league final. His entire career, since 1998, has been spent at Anfield with Liverpool. In this audiobook he charts his full playing career, shedding light on the defining games, his life off the pitch as well as the players and managers he's encountered. Good story very interesting. Like I said I'm not a Liverpool fan but I am a Football fan and this is a good story from a great player.
As a Man United fan it's hard to admit this but Steven Gerrard is an absolute legend.Liverpool were fortunate to keep a hold of him for so long but that probably says more about the man himself. Loyal to a fault, passionate and what a player! Great autobiography and the narration in the scouse accent makes this a must listen!
