The pain of Sakeena bint Hussain, also remembered as Shahzadi Sakina, still haunts every azadar. Her final journey from the ruins of Karbala to the dark prison of Damascus ended in silence her small grave reminding us of her suffering, her separation from Mola Hussain (Hussayn / Husayn), and the cruelty she faced in Darbaar-e-Yazid. This kalam brings alive the voice of that innocent child who cried for water, for her father, for peace a voice that still trembles in Shaam-e-Ghareeban.
