With WWF Raw airing on the USA Network and WCW Nitro broadcasting live on TNT at the same time, fans had to choose which wrestling show they would watch, and this series takes a look at what was on both channels while comparing every match, promo and segment of the Monday Night Wars. It's the night after Starrcade 1996 and Hollywood Hogan is telling everyone that he beat Roddy Piper at the Pay Per View. Piper shows up at the end of Nitro to confront Hogan, but it turns out that this may be the last time we see the Hot Rod for some time. The Giant decides to talk to Hulk in regards to his WCW Championship match, and problems arise within the nWo when Hollywood tries to avoid facing Giant. Elsewhere in the show, Dean Malenko takes on Rey Mysterio and Glacier has a match against Disco Inferno. Over on the WWF channel, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart step into the ring for an interview with Jim Ross. Bret Hart let's HBK know how he truly feels, and Shawn reveals to the world that Bret isn't this big role model that he claims to be.
