This is the final book in the series and it was fantastic! The reader did all of the unique character voices and they were "spot on" from one book the the next. You don't havve to be a kid to enjoy Percy Jackson and his friends.
More than the book, i love the narrator Jesse Bernstein. He understands the nuances, the inflections and modulates his voice according to the situation. In short, he conveys the spirit of the author.
Not the right narrator for this book. All wrong.Makes them all wimpy.
I’ve made my peace with the narrator. Some voices are pretty good but most are tolerable at best. But when he tries to do accents, horse accent, snake accent. Don’t even get me started on his racist take on an Asianvoice. It sounds like satirical voice my friends would use in middle school. He cannot do accents to save his life and makes me cringe whenever he tries
It’s a good story I really enjoyed it. My only actual complaint was the guy reading the story. His voices were eh and I could get over all of them until it came to Persephone. He made her sound like an old women with a cold, and made her mother have a giant lisp.
Supper funny and enlightening. Always makes you want to laugh and smile. Great for children of all ages and especially for pre-teens and over. Definitely a family book and a great way to learn all your Greek mythology through out the series. The more of these books you read, the more you want to think," what's Percy Jackson going to do in the next book?". Overall it's a great book to read and the content is incredible beyond compare.
The storyline is great and imaginative. I started off by watching the movies but I’m glad that I listened to the books second so that I got more detail.
jesse is over the top with his racial accents and it is terrible. why. why would you do that.
I listened to all of the Percy Jackson series’s in about a year and each book got better. This whole series is worth getting. After this I am going to listen to everything Rick Riordan has published. Read or listen to these books!!!!!!!!
good story loved the adventure the story tellers gave voices and personality to the carecters
I loved the whole series, the one thing is Jesse's character voices are sometimes very bad and hard to listen too, luckily as the series went on it kept getting better, where with this book it was very good only 2 or 3 of the very small characters had voices that I couldn't stand. I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone, for the story alone.
I thought it was a great book the narrator has lots of enthusiasm and really gives the characters a descriptive personality I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy and adventure books like Harry Potter overall I LOVED IT! -Good Job!
Another enjoyable listen in the Percy Jackson series.I really like 👍👍 Jessie Bernstein's naration. His voice adds so much more to the story than my own imagination ever could.Wherever does Rick Riordan get his ideas ?I can't wait for more .
