His mix of styles from different countris made Dynamite Kid an incredibly exciting wrestler to watch, especially in an era where nobody else on TV were doing things what Tom Billington was doing. Years of wrestling this hybrid style, along with his personal issues, would put a screeching halt to the Dynamite Kid's career. This, along with stories of how he treated his peers, makes Dynamite Kid's story the stuff of legend. Perhaps never has someone been so talented within the ring but had it all stripped away because of who he was and what he done outside of it. Stories about Dynamite Kid would pop up occasionally that made you wonder "how could this be true?", but then Tom Billington wrote his autobiography and not many of these stories were denied.
