Dana White reveals if Paddy Pimblett vs Ilia Topuria will happen in the UFC following octagon face off The pair had a heated discussion after Topuria's victory at UFC 317 over Charles Oliveira. Dana White has addressed the prospect of Paddy Pimblett taking on Ilia Topuria after the duo met in the Octagon after the latter's victory over Charles Oliveira. Topuria defeated Oliveira at UFC 317 in a lightweight clash on the main card with a first round knockout through punches. Lightweight Champion Topuria has maintained his unbeaten record in 17 MMA fights, seven of which have been through knockout, eight from submissions and two on decision. Pimblett meanwhile boasts a record of 23 wins from 26 MMA fights and only three losses to his name. Paddy the Baddy was last in the Octagon at UFC 314 with a technical knockout of Michael Chandler. It saw Topuria become a double UFC champion, having already been featherweight champion. After the Spanish fighter's win, Pimblett confronted Topuria in the Octagon where the duo had an exchange which fuelled speculation the pair could fight each other next. Joe Rogan placed the microphone in the middle of the pair and Pimblett said: "Well done, lad. That was a heavy knockout.
