This is when Karrion Kross tried to derail Drew McIntyre. In August 2022, Drew wanted to put his hands on Roman Reigns. Kross’ music started playing with Scarlett in the distance, Kross attacked Drew from behind and started assaulting him. A week later, Kross called Drew and Roman the Chosen Ones and he was disregarded like a broken toy, while stalking Drew backstage. Drew hit Solo with the Claymore and Kross caught him from behind, ending in a DQ. Then Drew slowly passed out to end the show. Two weeks later, Drew challenged Kross to a Strap Match. Scarlett interrupted, Kross appeared from behind, Drew fought back and threw him into the ring post. Drew strapped himself to Kross and started hitting him with the strap. Scarlett stopped Drew and then used a fireball. Kross went after him, Drew fought back and Scarlett hit him with a low blow. Then Kross caught him with the Kross Jacket until he passed out. Next week, Drew hit Austin Theory with the strap, sending a message to Kross. Kross made his entrance a week later, Drew appeared from behind, attacked him and started assaulting him. Drew wanted to strap himself to Kross, the security stopped him and he managed to fight back.
