Bulgaria Exchange 2019

Last weekend I was lucky enough to visit Bulgaria and meet with my friend Kayolan Kolev to enjoy a day of training and inter-club competition! The training focused heaving on movements for Ippon Seoi Nage and explored a neat transition into an Ere Jime that I absolutely love. My visit to Bulgaria follows on from much communication with Kayolan after first meeting on the WJF International Circuit in Thessaloniki Greece. After many discussions regarding the frustrations of modern judo, Kayolan decided to join myself on the path to reignite traditional judo and formed his own federation JFABG. The exchange therefore extends our integration and further works toward keeping true, traditional judo alive.
