Steve made an impact as a pro footballer, but he also left a unique legacy in the world of pro wrestling. Steve was able to win the WCW United States championship, something that not many other superstars can say they accomplished. What's probably bigger than this achievement though is the fact that McMichael became part of the legendary Four Horsemen faction, something that was met with some criticism. His in-ring work wasn't at same level as most of his peers either, but the effort Steve put into pro wrestling wasn't ignored.
