With Raw on the USA Network and Nitro on TNT, fans had to choose which show they would watch, and both companies put on some great content to keep fans from switching the channel. On Nitro this week Lex Luger goes through a “rebirth” when he becomes The Total Package, this new version of Luger is very similar to the previous iteration (as in, he’s exactly the same). Fans get treated to a Hair vs Mask match when Billy Kidman faces Psychosis, and Bret Hart forms a tag team with Ric Flair in the Nitro main event. On Raw this week, the WWF present the famous “This is Your Life” segment featuring The Rock and Mankind. The segment, which features Foley introducing folks from The Rock’s past, got a great quarter rating for the WWF.
