As someone who loved the 1st film, I was quite glad to see a sequel to that film. After watching the film, I would say it may not be as good as the last film, but still an entertaining time none the less I would say there are many similarities to classic Disney films like finding nemo, the lion king and even Disney Dinosaur and I don't mind, even with the basic story, bad eng dub, decent animation and speckles being a completely different character (which makes sense seen as he doesn't really know how to be a good father and he reminds me of my own dad in some ways), it's still a fun ride and a decent sequal to an underrated film. If you liked the first film, then you'll find something good about this one and if they make a sequal to this one, I would like to see where they go with it

I saw this title on Google Play Movies one week ago. The movie is very good, my five-year-old son loved it. The movie very much resembles Disney's original "Lion King", but the time is prehistoric and the main characters are a Tarbosaurus family, when only the little one survives and the movie follows his adventure trough the ages to become the king of the jungle. Very good movie, the story is good, very good visual effects, great dinosaur computer models and animation. First dinosaur movie I see from South Korea, but I hope they make more like this one! Some dinosaur fight scenes might scare some kids, so I would say tell in advance your kids something to prepare them. My son is now 5 and he is used to watch dinosaurs, so he was fine with this.

This would appear to be the same film as Speckles: The Tarbosaurus (2012), the animation is really nice, but the voice acting and dialogue is to be desired. There's one use of 'crap', they also reference to 'god' 'chickens' and some of other modern vernaculars that I didn't think really fitted with the prehistoric setting. It is scary, a little unsettling and dark in places, with death scenes, and the final scenes feature a beast which is quite terrifying for smaller children. That being said, it is almost entirely Finding Nemo x The Lion King x The Land Before Time. Good for a one time watch family movie night for dinosaur fans age 6+

I think it was amazing it had that special effect of adventure and friends and I think they should either. 1. Make a Dino king 3 where they are trying to stop this group of Dino's that are causing trouble in there new home and now that they have new characters like blade, blue, and dusty it would be nice to show more of them. And maybe they can have it to where blade is juniors step brother and then dusty can be with blue and fang. 2. They can make it into a tv series and where it's like land before time where they go on amazing adventures in there new home a make new friends and they have this group of bad dinosaur kids and they always get into fights and argue about things. And blade and junior are step brothers. And dusty and blue are step sisters and there out to change the world there would be challenges and bad guys and friendship to make the series more interesting and exciting.

I actually kinda like this movie, an interesting adventure is included, there's lots of fictional creatures not present in the first film (giant monster iguanas, sauropod-sized scorpions, etc), and even some likeable characters like Junior the Tarbosaurus himself, who somehow reminds me of young Simba from both the 1995 Lion King and its photo-realistic CGI remake of 2019 (both of which I liked). Though, I have two complaints about this movie. One of my problems with that movie is the cgi is often awkwardly unlike how the site for the movie likes to claim (the quote even states it is lifelike like Walking with Dinosaurs 2013 film, which I don't mind, but Speckles 2 movie does not even look close to being lifelike, in fact lots of dinosaurs look outdated, for example, the raptors have those broken pronated hands like all theropods in the movie, which none of them had, or still have in the case of birds, since birds are dinosaurs, and don't even have enough feathers (despite the claim of feathers not being scary, birds actually can be scary due to the fact that feathers can be soaked in blood and several birds like cassowaries can be dangerous), but I guess those inaccuracies are probably meant to familiarize the audience of what they are. My other problem is that Speckles is just too thick-headed for the entire movie scolding his son Junior for the entire movie for being scared even if Speckles was scared once like Junior when he was his age, sure he does see that he was wrong about his son at the end of the movie, but after all the mistakes he made and learned from the first movie, it feels like some but not all of that character has been forgotten just so he can be a stick in the mud about everything, making him almost as, it not as, neglectful towards his son as Buck Cluck from Chicken Little (the worst Disney character). My third and only problem is that Ankylosaur (Cy) has a grating voice (at least in the English dub) akin to nails on chalkboard, that Ankylosaur makes me so annoyed that I want to cook Ankylosaur meat (if Ankylosaurs were still alive today), I know the English-dubbing voice actor was trying to make the best for the movie, but that's the way the movie went. Besides from these nitpicks, I actually don't even mind the movie really bad, though not as good as the first movie, but it's worth watching.
