يرصد الفيلم القصة الملحمية لسيدنا موسى في العهد القديم منذ ولادته والموت يحيط به من كل جانب، حتى إنقاذه بأعجوبة وهو رضيع، مرورًا بتبنيه من قبل منزل العائلة الحاكمة في مصر، وصولًا لتحديه فرعون وسلطته الطاغية. أيضًا يلقي الفيلم بظلاله على علاقة بني إسرائيل وفرعون وجنوده وكيف عانوا تحت حكمه من الذل والعبودية. بالإضافة إلي أن الفيلم يصف محاولات موسى المضنية لإنقاذ بني إسرائيل من العبودية.

Doesn't matter to me if its story is true or not. I just focused on watching it and getting entertainment. For gaining true knowledge. There are other sources like religious books.
rubbish .. I don't recommend it.. David Divided the red sea not dry up the red sea ... moses held a staff.. not a sword dude.. complete shii
If Hollywood is going to use Bible stories as subjects for movies, then stick to the actual story. This movie, like Noah, is a horrible movie. Unlike what is in this movie....the plagues sown in the movie are explained completely false. In reality (and yes...reality) God brought the plagues. All on His own to show His people that He is control of everything. If you want to read the truth, read the Bible. It would have been nice if Hollywood, including Ridley Scott, would have read the Bible and made the movie based on that. The other option would be to STOP making Biblical movies that have nothing to do with the Bible.
