"First Act" attempts to shed light on the harsh realities of the industry, promising an important message about its inner workings. Unfortunately, any potential impact is drowned by the series' glaring flaws. To put it bluntly, it's absolute the worst. The documentary is so heavily scripted that it begs the question: can it even ethically be labeled as a documentary? The essence of a documentary is authenticity, a genuine portrayal of real-life events and truths. It deviates so far from this concept that it almost becomes a disservice to the audience. The crucial message the series attempts to convey is lost amidst poorly executed scenes and a script that feels more like a badly written drama than a documentary. The industry insights, which could have been enlightening, are buried under the weight of a convoluted narrative. The series, in its attempt to be dramatic, sacrifices the very essence of what a documentary should be. In conclusion, this is a missed opportunity. Its potential to unveil important industry truths is overshadowed by a poorly crafted and heavily scripted narrative. If you're seeking genuine insights into the industry, look elsewhere, because this one definitely fails to deliver on its promises.
I was really very 😢 watching this series ......never thought such is the black reality in the lives of these kids who are losing their childhood for sake of their parents dream. Their lives is being devasted at such an early stage ....and how ruthless the industry is ...the way they are treating them ? Deepa batiya and amul gupte has done the tremendous job to put all their issues into perspective...every parents needs to watch! It will some way or the other will let you think that your aspirations are nothing to do with your children ...they need to live their childhood fully ...let them be who they are ..but sadly I don't think that not going to happen !
Great series .must watch series for parents who's children's working in field of Cinema, TV and advertisement.even it's eye opener for other actors regarding real casting directors working and styles . All famous and clear casting directors had given there best for this series . Writer, director , cast and crew of this production was above my expectaction. Anmol Guptey, Mukesh Chhabra, T Joseph and other casting director had spoken truth regarding casting .Other famous child actors along with family members were amazing to show there truth to world . Hats off and salute to them to speak out truth of glamours world .
