It stresses the selfish desire of certain world leaders to dominate the world which threatened human security and claimed the lives of millions of people during the early years of the 20th century. Another leader emerged in the 60’s – our very own former President Marcos – whose selfish desire drove him to impose Martial Law. It is remembered today as one of the darkest periods in Philippine history.
