This movie tries so hard to be funny, touching, tense and action packed. Unfortunately it fails on all counts. Probably the greatest example is that so many scenes are filmed at an angle. I assume this is show the viewer how edgy and chaotic things are. However it comes across as incredibly amateurish and annoying as the effect is used so often. Everyone tries so hard to be tough and cool, and dialogue is limited to only a few lines per actor and scene. Again I imagine it's to show how edgy the story is. Sadly it means you don't feel anything for the characters because we know so little about them. Judging by the ending, I imagine there's a sequel in the offing. Surely it won't be as bad as the original.
