The Great Christmas Bake Off/The Great Holiday Bake War (2022) - Felix Starr was dreadful. The actor Vijay Mehta was so cringey to watch in the role and Sophie Broussard played by Arlene Duncan was ridiculously over the top, but they weren't the only ones, because the whole film was loud and fast talking, with a lot of stereotypes again. I'd like to see a film with a black leading cast that doesn't rely on showing such exaggerated characters with narcissistic "Kardashian" type personalities or behaviour like the girl from 'Scary Movie' (2000) who screams at the cinema screen. The daughter, Willow, played by Naomi Sogbien was actually the best one in the film and she was like what? 12? There was so much animosity between the two leads Julian (Finesse Mitchell) and Brianna (LeToya Luckett) and it was so fierce that I found it really hard to believe there could ever be anything romantic for them. The way it was made was just really tacky with odd flashbacks and silliness too. I gave up on it just before they started the baking competition because there was no way I was going to enjoy it. I didn't even fancy Julian. Unscored as Unfinished.
