This is one of the best "cheesy" Christmas movies I have ever seen. Ferelith Young knocks it out of the park with her performance, showing the joys and fears of relationships both romantic...and professional. If sincerity could be acted, Young manages to accomplish the impossible. Her warmth is what makes one's heart sing. If you think you've watched too many Christmas movies this year, don't pass this one up. The story feels adult. The childishness of other films' conflict resolutions is avoided here. It is heartfelt. The Fabric of Christmas will inspire you to pursue understanding and love for even those with whom you disagree.
I'm a huge fan of Christmas movies and this one didn't disappoint. The premise wasn't anything unusual, but what sets a good Christmas movie apart from the others is the acting. Some actors are just so cringe worthy and you can literally see them acting, but in this movie they were believable. The lead actress I found very endearing and she came across so naturally. Her smile made me smile, and her reactions felt lifelike and not overdone. The supporting cast I really liked, and the relationship between the brother and sister was so heartfelt. Overall a good Christmas movie, but the lead actress stole the show.
