Hum Tum and Them

Just binged watched this series. Every one has acted their part SO well. I loved the way the kids emotions play out. I like Shiva's character. Shweta's emotions are spot on - Yudi is an irresponsible father who is getting his life together and his character build up was good. It might have been an atypical portrayal of the indian way of life - or perhaps that is how it is now - but I thoroughly enjoyed watching a non saas-bahu Indian show! I hope they come out with season 2 soon enough - It would be interesting to see the character of Yudi and I don't want to give out any spoilers so i'm not going to say more but just watch it!

The show has a unique concept but stretches beyond a point and this makes it an average show. It was nice in first 8-9 episodes, but should have finished by 10-11 episodes like Broken but Beautiful. Akshay's role is amazing. He keeps tickling the funny bones. Shweta Tiwari seems a misfit for the role to me. The intimate scenes doesn't symbolize the love or chemistry that the lead pair should have had. I think there will be a second season, it better be with improved and engaging storyline

The caste is literally trash. The acting is the worst I've seen ever in an Indian show. I watched 11 episodes with my mom just to see if the story becomes good or the actors improve their acting, it didn't happen.
