Really enjoyed it, the sad, the happy and the funny. I was holding for the happy ending but sadly it didn't come, but maybe that makes it more memorable? Two leads were amazing!
I REALLY liked the first half of this movie. There was a lot of potential. The movie already moved at a fast pace but I felt like the second half was way too rushed. It could have possibly worked better if the movie were longer but it just didn't work for me. Then we get to the ending. What even was that?! Again, MAYBE it could have worked if the movie was longer but ultimately, I felt ripped off.
Really powerful moving drama showing reactions of certain people in dealing with a young man with cancer. It's a true portrait of what it must be like for some people after they beat the disease. The central relationship between Maika Monroe & Jeremy Allen White is great and real and makes the movie work.
I originally select this movie because I wanted to watch more Joe Keery content, cause why not? He is awesome. And to my surprise he was in it for total of 3 mins, I dont understand why he is credited as the first name in the cast in imdb but in general it was a very nice and refreshing movie. Really loved the plot and the cast in general.
When I first saw this I thought it was going to be another one of those fault in our stars type movies. Love interest gets sick and eventually dies but boy was I wrong! It was something totally different and I really enjoyed it!
The typical love/bust movie. Two kids fall for each other, get married, and then fail to survive the inevitable challenges of marriage. I was hoping for a happy ending though. But not sure if this movie has one or not. I hope so because they were really madly in love early on. But, words said in anger poisoned it, just like in real life. Proving that too often true love doesn't sustain a couple through the hardest of times. Or, does it?
