Good movie, with a strong cast. The movie displays traditional family values, while moving forward with honoring acceptance of all. It was tastefully written with a playful feel. I appreciate Hallmark moving in a more forward direction. Well done!
Ugh it's so frustrating watching the hallmark Christmas movies because you think the writers can't come up with better then this. The plot has been done 100 times before. The only good thing is I liked the 2 main leads and they involved a gay romance which we need to see more in hallmark films now we need to see people with tattoos.
The movie plot is boring and unoriginal. The main characters have no chemistry. The only good thing about this movie is Ryan Paevy, but one actor can't carry a whole movie. It had potential, but it was just so boring.
The 2 main characters had zero chemistry. And I was extremely disappointed to see a totally unnecessary sinful relationship plugged. Has to close my eyes through those parts. The main character's parents seemed way more interested in each other than in their adult daughter, but in a flirty way that was overkill. Will not watch again and do not recommend.
But I don't usually give up on movies. Boring, same ole, same ole. Not one of Ryans best and the lead female (I've forgotten her name) was really boring. I was relieved when it was over so I could go to bed, and get back into my latest book.
Standard fare with one exception. Trees with leaves were everywhere. I get it, you filmed in summer so this could be released in time for Christmas. But keeping all the leafy trees in the background is just lazy filmmaking. The producers, director and cinematographers should never work on Christmas movies ever again. Ryan Paevey is a sexy beast though.
There was NO chemistry between the two main characters. Never believed They were in love. Even at the end, it seemed like they were strangers. And, she was kinda of a jerk.

A tired plot, forced gay couple story and poor acting create another Hallmark failure. New actors could make for a more believable story. Hallmark needs to stop pushing the gay story lines. It just means the families turn off these movies without suffering through them.
Love the leading man but the girl was awful. The story line was dumb and she could not sell her part at all. Hallmark writer need to di a better job and please cast a couple with some spark to them. She needs some acting classes.....
