Why does dolly push the alphabet so much. Good show.
This series is the perfect thing to bring people together...The stories are weaved around Dolly's music and they each have a bit of heartwarming wisdom. They are also a perfect spark for important family conversations about life's many trials and tribulations.
I thought these were very entertaining. It was a different approach and I liked the way Dolly tied in the song's. At least it wasn't filled with inappropriate language and gratuitous violence. These episodes were refreshing!
I love the music and Dolly's appearances a lot. The episodes were mostly pretty heartwarming and entertaining. I think it's fine to have the LGBTQ topic appear but it kind of was a bit much with having a nonbinary needing to be called nibbling instead of nephew or niece. Two points off for needing to push that topic several times where story wise it wasn't relevant. Nevertheless I enjoyed the series and would like a season 2 for sure!
Yes it's cheezy, get over it. If you have a heart, this is for you. Mom, you really have to see this!
There are times in life when you hope that all that is good in this world can be brought forth. Heartstrings does the most magnificent job of bringing love, laughter, tears, music and joy to the screen. Thank you to every person, every actor, writer, director, producer, and the crew that brought these beutiful stories to life. You have brought love and acceptance into the world. Dolly Parton is a rare and beautiful gift to this world. Thank You!!
Could only make it into the third episode due to the mediocre writing. I can't fault the actors, they did what they could with the material given, but come on Netflix. Is this the best you can do for a talent like Dolly Parton? If you like Lifetime you'll like this series, but I don't and it was difficult to maintain interest.
Mid 1990s tv soap. These people are all trapped on being so false to each other it's painful to watch. I hope the world has moved on..
This sounds so exciting I'm scared to watch it. What if my heart just can't go on, right? After half dozen false starts, I had to pack it in. So sorry Dolly.
