Escape plan 3 doesn't follow on from the cool & exciting ending of the excellent "Escape Plan 2:Hades" & i don't know why? It seems everything that happened in part 2 is forgotten, including his new young team? Nothing makes any sense!!! But I've recently found out that "mr. BIG ego" yes i mean "Stallone" hates part 2 & thinks it's the worse film he's ever been involved in? I think it's because he was only a small bit part/extended cameo in that sequel & the cool new younger team hurt his ego, that's what i think, so he came back with this 3rd entry & is the main lead focus again so he likes it, but just because "Stallone" is back as the lead doesn't mean it's a better film as it's not!!! Infact this 3rd entry feels even cheaper than part 2 & has none of the cool looking cinematography or the excellent music that part 2 had, the fights are just ok but the overall film is actually very dull & boring!!!
Nothing to say if you like Stallone, do not watch this
Let me tell you something. This is a short and simple movie. Run time only 1:27 hours. If you think that the lead actor is "Sylvester Stallone" and this movie is going to be crazy! man take a break, they have to give a chance to new directors and simple scripts that's how we get a blockbuster. The story is very very simple. There is a lack of vision for the camera they missed some simple details. Dave Bautista did amazing. I like the new guy Jin Zhang, specially for his martial arts. Anyway this movie is not bad but you can watch other movie if you don't have much time. If you're a fan of Sylvester then go for it with no regret. Once again it's not the best but not the worst.
Sly killed it with this third installment o Escape Plan - I will its better than ONE and we will forget TWO altogether. As an action seeker, this film provides all the right goods - MMA - Boxing - Kungfu - integrating so any styles and left me cheering. Escape Plan THREE will be on my purchase list. Keep Punching SLY!
The plot and the actions scenes are well organised. I would almost not watch it when I saw the ratings but I'm glad I didn't consider the ratings. It's another good work from Sylvester Stallone bring the first movie into caption in this new sequelae.👍👍
Suddenly Escape Plan 2 and the Ebola virus don't seem so bad. I don't blame Sly for taking the money, but this film is nauseating. Completely devoid of redemption. Boring, brainless, soulless cash grab that has nothing to do with the wonderfully-crafted original film. F
Is how Sly Stallone is held together at 103 years old. The story was equally sewn together. Some of the action sequences were okay, but this installment lacks the intricate prison puzzle that the first two had. I am also disappointed that the female character seems a little subservient and weak. I understand this is still vogue in China, but there are still capable women. It seems like a political knot between Chinese d American cinema. Without Stallone this would be a 1
Just wanted to say i am so glad i ABSOLUTELY take NO notice of reviews on here UNTIL i watch a film. Enjoyable watch for me. Bye.
