An amazing installment in the evil bong franchise, the best of the original trilogy. It has the core characters at their strongest and expands on the evil bong mythology. Eebee and her alien counterpart play unique roles in the film and the premise hits the perfect "WTF" atmosphere of the previous installments. The 2nd film expanded into the world and this film expands further with a well executed balance of familiarity and novelty. The alien bong dimension is far more effective as a hostile setting than its predecessors, it is unfamiliar to the audience and the characters and makes the story far less predictable. Overall a very well made film with engaging characters and a great sense of humour. Will likely rewatch.
The only good thing in this movie are aliens the main characters are held captive by after they take a puff of the titular antagonist. Everything else is boring and forgettable. The characters are bland, the acting's hokey and being a B-movie the effects are bad. Not the worst as far as B-movies go but still pretty bad. The story's about an evil alien bong who crashes on earth and plans to enslave the world leaving a bunch of stoners to stop it. Realizing how dangerous their foe is they forcibly recruit the original Evil Bong from the first 2 movies. As you can guess things get incredibly stupid from this point on. The actresses who play the aliens are entertaining to watch but even they get tiresome because they do very little to further the plot. they're pretty much fluffers used to slowly turn their victims into weed. If you like stoners or so bad it's good movies than this's for you. Otherwise you can pass this joint up because you won't get the hit you're looking for.
Evil Bong 3 (2011) is available for free on Tubi and takes our band of misfits into outer space after smoking an alien bong. They are held there by naked aliens and begin growing strange green funguses. Their only hope to be saved is if they can reassemble the original Evil Bong to thwart the Alien Bong. This movie is directed by legend Charles Band (Puppet Master) and stars Christina DeRosa (Bad Moms), Irwin Keyes (The Warriors), Robin Sydney (The Gingerbread Man), Mitch Eakins (Glory Road) and John Patrick Jordan (Mad Men). The storyline while awful is fun and the special effects are creative while the script is inconsistent but good for a few giggles. This isn't anything special but is fun in a so bad it's good kind of way. I'd score it a 4/10.
An evil alien bong crashes on Earth with the specific intent of taking over our world. Our stoner heroes are held captive on the alien bong planet by * alien beauties. Original evil bong Eebee (voiced with sassy panache by Michelle Mais) is their only hope to defeat this new evil bong. Director Charles Band, working from a blithely inane script by August White and Kent Roudebush, maintains an engaging tongue-in-cheek no-brainer tone and a pleasantly trippy psychedelic vibe throughout. The game cast have a ball with the dopey material: Peter Stickles as nerdy straight-arrow Allistair, Brian Lloyd as the abrasive Brett, John Patrick Jordan as the laid-back Larnell, Mitch Eakins as the equally mellow Bachman, Sonny Carl Davis as zany religious fanatic Rabbit, and Robin Sydney as stuck-up bitch Luann. Erwin Keyes has a funny small part as a sweet soft-spoken wife killer. The copious gratuitous female nudity and perverse premise concerning Earth men being milked for their sperm provides an extra kinky kick while the cheesy (far from) special effects further enhance the overall tacky charm. Terrance Ryker's gaudy cinematography gives the picture an appropriately garish look. Richard Band's bubbly score keeps things bouncing along. A real dippy hoot.

Their only hope to escape and save planet earth: Eebee, the original Evil Bong. Full Moon is not really known for quality, but they are still in the business of having fun -- they make low budget films that people can watch at a party or with a few beers, not movies that will be earning awards. This one, sadly, is neither. It runs too long, is not very funny, and just beat the "Bong World" idea to death. I liked the first film, did not mind the second, but this one is awful. The only redeeming thing about this film was the brief appearance by Robin Sydney, who must be in a lifetime contract to Charles Band. She has been in more of his films than anyone else in the last ten years, with no signs of stopping. Not that I mind. I have met Robin, she is a cool person, and I would gladly see her return again and again. Praise for Robin Sydney aside, this was just a stinker. I would rather have been taking a nap or playing Mahjong than sitting through this epic failure. Maybe it was better in 3D or smell-o-vision... but not on DVD.
