Maybe it gets better, but I turned it off 15 minutes in because the acting was SOOO bad. I love a good, clean, family-friendly movie, but can't watch movies that feel so unnaturally fake due to poor acting.
Best movie for thanksgiving dinners and family, you can also watch it with your friends and close ones as it's more engaging to the cost. I wish they would given the additional actors more screen time so that the whole movie as a group could be more engaging and more funnier.
I don't have the energy for this. The movie sucked...I mean it really sucked. The writer of this movie must be very delusional. If I had to choose between changing soiled adult diapers all day or watch 10 minutes more of this movie, I'd bury my hands in Huggies!
It was so refreshing to see a clean romantic comedy that was funny, clean, and wholesome. This was much better than Hallmark movies. I laughed and laughed. We still talk about it even weeks later. I'll definitely be watching it again, especially around Thanksgiving. The comedy timing was impeccable.

There's no way someone watched this and went "yeah that's fine" Bad acting, worse script, even worse sound design. The whole story is just about a lady cheating on her boyfriend with her ex. Woohoo.
Every year, My husband, my Son, and I volunteer at a homeless shelter every Holiday. The banter between the actors while serving the food to the homeless was extremely distasteful, and outright Rude. They almost never made eye contact with the ones that were shown, Never a "Hi ! How about (whatever they were serving) Happy Holiday .. Nothing. Acting was not great, story line was OK. Agreed. I love Jon Heder. I would watch anything he was in.
There's something for everyone to LOL at, from Grandpa Joe's one liners, to Bryce's hilarious bromance. It's an enjoyable watch for the whole family. Will add it to our annual holiday watch lists.
