good animes are always underrated
I love a good anime that takes great effort to make believable and exciting mechs that actually add to the story line. Gargantia really hits the mark. They spend 80% of the episode time developing all of the major characters. Finally, in the later portion of the season, everything comes together in a captivating fight of ideals. I couldn't stop watching the last 3 episodes. I really appreciated that they creators of this kept the plot focused on what it means to be human. They didn't try and go after 15 major plot lines, but rather stayed on one main story line to the very end. Loved it!
