Turkish people will love this movie and story. Only watch and enjoy, I love how she act.
Actings are horrible:))) I can't believe those talented humorous theater players are playing so artificial ! Unrealistic characters unrealistic decorations and outfits. Waste of time to watch!
Beautiful characters, great acting. The most pleasant period film as the film made with turkey. The turkey's political era, the film shows that how people's lives change. I guess the reason it is so successful is that it is a part of everyone's life.
Well known story from theater. Great acting performans from Ecem Erkek. Definetely a must see. Best film ive seen lately.
I would give 10/10 it has a great story. A bit sad but I would definitely give 10/10. The characters and actors are awesome.
It is not enjoyable to watch the new version after watching the play. You already know all the details of the story. They just adapted some places to the present day. For example, a religious uncle became a politician in the first version, he is experiencing enlightenment here and withdraws from worldly affairs. Then, in the first version, they were making fun of the cinci teacher and the closed women. In this version, they don't talk about closed women at all, they still say I am a hafiz or something. I think the AKP effect. :)
Wonderfully written, the combination of comedy, sadness, youth and older generation was enchanting. It was fascinating to see the memoirs of the main character; the simplicity of it was perfect. Actors, setting and the photography is amazing.
It tells about Turkey's history like a book. Also the story is great sometimes keep your heart warm sometimes break.
People watching this as a typical movie might be upset because the technique is still the original play style which I loved the change of watching sth different. Great acting with great history overlay and overall a nice movie. Would recommend.
