Simple fackt, for 1. Person Console Gamers, this Movie is a must to see. All rest, spare your time, ignore this Movie! Sorry but i cant give this Movie more then 2 Stars. Reason, Core Problem is, that its all in Ego Perspective ( such is nothing for a Movie. ) . So, you see at best. Hands and Feet of your own. That was it. Sets are done simple to ok. But dont await much. Cinematic way its complete Fail! Like in a simple Console Game, you dont see much more then even size of a room. Even if the Area is bigger, rest is simple Black! Splatter things? I dont know, what you understand about Splatter and such. Only this Movie keeps on lowest Level. Puppets, where permanent simple Red Water is pumped through, covered in blankets.. and here and there kind of meat ( here you can already see kind of sponge used ) , has nothing to do with real Splatter. There whould be already the Rare Moments in Movies like Hostel already " Reverence" .
Not really much to say about the story, the protagonist is in Hell trying to resurrect somehow. The whole movie looks like a live action fps game on drugs, with quite interesting demons and cultists being ripped in half, smashed, exploded, gutted, shot... well you get the idea. The gore fxs and sets are awesome, high budget quality. The acting, not really high budget quality. All in all a solid 7 out of 10
Dark, ultra gory, unsettling, and not funny. Don't know why people compare this to a video game, to me this is more a fpv Fulci's movie. Italian gore at its best, highly recommended.
I loved hotel inferno1, and I double loved hotel inferno2 . I can sum this movie like a Doom, DarkSouls, Cannibal Corpse smoothie. The story is simple like in a videogame: Frank is in Hell and he must find some kind of emblems to resurrect himself, and to do that he has to kill small and huge demons. The setting is astonishing, like you are inside a Cannibal Corpse's cover, and the movie is full of awesome practicals, videogames references ad cheesy dialogues, all covered with tons of awesome gore. My only complains, the infant scene, I really hate to see violence on babies, even if they are monsters. Already backed chapter 3 and I can't wait to see it, literally. Greeting from Germany
