Batman & Robin. Indiana Jones 4. The Phantom Menace. Root canals. Getting stampeded by horses. Total world annihilation. All of those things are more enjoyable than Jack and Jill. I am not the hugest Adam Sandler fan, and by that I mean I kinda liked some parts of Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. I knew when I was forced to watch it, that I'd probably hate it. I had no idea just how much I'd hate it. Even my family who fall in the typical Adam Sandler fan base, a.k.a. they laugh at fart jokes, hated it. I don't even consider this a movie. This isn't even entertainment. Truth be told, I don't even know what this is. I've given the three movies I mentioned at the start crap for being bad before, but honestly they look like Citizen Kane in comparison*. If I could give a film a negative rating, I would. The worst movie I have even been forced to sit through. *I know it's a cliché to say this, but it fits here.
I wont add any spoilers about the plot but all I can say is......It was honestly a waste of time. I have taken more entertaining visits to the toilet than this movie. I want my bandwidth back for even writing this review cause its really not worth even that. Adam Sandler crapped out a spectacularly disastrous title in which the look of constipation on his face sums it all up into "Are you kidding me?!" I think picking my nose would be more entertaining than watching this movie. I would suggest this movie to anyone who wants to let out some steam, cause all you want to do when watching this movie is scream or curse at the screen. Or you could tie your enemy to the chair and make them watch the movie as a form of torture , that would be the best revenge.
Pure escapism. No politics, no hate, no message. Just pure hilarity!
A seriously bad film with loads of dull jokes, unrealistic characters and flatulence, lots and lots of flatulence. I never cared much for Adam Sandler, but to have him in a movie playing twins, that is just too much, I can safely say this will be the last of his movies I will ever see, and what a waste of Al Pacino's time. The Cockatoo was the star and made for the only funny moments, give the bird it's own movie.
Ranks up there with godfather and the dark night a very intense crime drama
Adam's films are a perfect gateway to forget the world and have a load of fun! Like others, this one's also full of heart and laughs. Loved how Jill seemed like such a different character, from Jack. Kudos to Sandler for pulling that off. Pachino's flexing some real comedy muscles in this one.
I got offered a free ticket by a friend to accompany them to see Adam Sandlers new attempt at comedy and honestly what the next line says is no exaggeration... Worst thing since the holocaust... it is honestly that bad, who lets this man make movies. Please avoid at all costs and save your money!! Comedy has changed since Adam sandlers early days with the likes of Happy Gilmore, films have changed but Adam sandler clearly hasn't if he is still turning out this rubbish. Al Pacino shouldn't be within a hundred miles of this film I don't know what he was thinking. His credentials as an actor speak volumes he must be stuck for money if he's doing this dirt. Please Do not see this film, any decent self respecting Movie fan will not!!
