Krishnamma is a cinematic tour de force that plunges viewers into the murky depths of exploitation. Set against the backdrop of a Vijayawada, the film weaves a gripping narrative that exposes the vulnerabilities of the marginalized. Krishnamma delves into themes of trust, betrayal, and sacrifice. The river becomes a metaphor-a witness to their joys and sorrows. Satya Dev's portrayal of Bhadra is brilliant. His vulnerability and unwavering loyalty make Bhadra a compelling character The plot takes unexpected turns, keeping viewers guessing. The suspense builds gradually, leading to a climax that leaves hearts racing. The emotional rollercoaster is both exhilarating and heartbreaking. Cinematography captures the essence of Vijayawada-the sun-kissed riverbanks, the bustling streets, and the quiet corners where secrets fester. The visuals evoke nostalgia and longing. Krishnamma isn't an easy watch-it's raw, unapologetic, and devoid of sugar-coated resolutions. But therein lies its power. It forces us to confront uncomfortable truths, urging us to question the systems that perpetuate exploitation.
Cinematic masterpiece it is , an extraordinary grounded story which engages very well, starting from storyline to screenplay, direction & actors performance everything was perfect Telugu cinema at it's peak Brilliant performances from the lead characters especially Satya lived in the character. Awesome revenge thriller Kudos to the whole team of krishnamma for pulling of a film like this with a very limited budget and great quality Would like to add director vision just imagining if he's got much bigger budget it would be an eye feast The story revolves around just 5 characters but every other character has it's own weightage to perform within the limited scope, every character has scope to perform within the given space and time . 10/10 for a masterpiece from my side.
This movie looks like True Incident which happened on Dec 27, 2007 in Vijayawada (Ayesha Meera's Case)... Way more better than the movies which are coming with high budget with having better story line than those big ones... Even though the story is same old but the narration of the story, characteristics of the Hero and his friends are good. Not boring and unnecessary songs and no useless comedy. The entire story goes in one wavelength... SatyaDev making a good impression with every Movie and looked Promising, No Overdoers,No Hype,Indeed a promising star along with SUHAS making waves in Tollywood... Rest of the characters too did their work perfect to elevate the movie at a brisk pace... The chemistry among the lead trio adds a layer of realism to the narrative, emphasizing the film's core theme of friendship & loyalty... The film's emotional depth is commendable, although it suffers from a slow first half. The romantic subplot feels unnecessary and detracts from the main storyline. However, the director's debut is promising, showcasing a competent handling of traditional revenge drama with fresh emotional beats... Cinematography is adequate. While Kaala Bhairava's songs lack punch, his background score is ineffective. Editing needs to be sharper... Krishnamma primarily explores corrupt police practices, where officers falsely frame innocent people to protect those in power. It also touches on the theme of ordinary individuals seeking vengeance against those who have inflicted severe harm on their lives... Overall though the plot is repeatative The new director adopts a realistic style, avoiding conventional commercial elements, making it a one time watchable flick...
