Stephanie Bennett and Mark Ghanime' so good so compatable. Wish he did not have that awful beard looks so much better without it. Beautiful scenery interesting podcasts.
Continual spa day music.... Wooden cheesy acting .... Just dreadful... so woke so fake so urgh...... movies 24 here in the uk has just shown this, and thankfully I only caught the last 20mins, it's the worst Reel One film I've ever seen. There's no spoilers as it's so predictable as paint drying or rain falling from the sky..... I can't moan about it anymore.... Trying to find something positive but there's nothing at all.... Really nothing..... ok it's utter drivel. Rubbish Drivel Predictable Garbage Cringe Please make better cheesy hallmark style movie not this garbage...... help me end this review because I can't say anymore.
The premise is similar to many others but enough different to be interesting. My problem was that Mark Ghanimé was so irritating that it set the tone and I never got into the swing of the movie. Both leads spoke a lot of mumbo jumbo in the beginning regarding self-actualization which also turned me off. I said the premise was interesting, but that might be because it was so odd- the idea of manufacturing love for Jackie in just a few weeks and then broadcasting the whole personal experience. Can love be a self-actualized experience? There might have been chemistry between the leads, but I was too blinded by Alex's early posturing and I just never got past that characteristic in him.
Nothing seemed to click in this one - whether that be the actors or the way it was written, it was just a variation of several other similar themed movies that didn't interest me. Plus, there were plenty of cliches for everyone. Four stars was probably generous.
I don't know why but there have been so many movies from this film company and they put out previews that tell the full story. I know the plots are all the same but at least let me watch it for myself. All the preview should do is entice my to watch the movie! Looks quite boring and guess what via the preview they kiss at the end.
