Comedian Rose Matafeo has kissed nearly 10 men in her life, AKA she's a total horndog. But what is horniness. Is it that intangible essence of excitement and adventure that has inspired humankind since the dawn of time. An understanding of the overwhelming power of love as the key to true personal flourishing. Or is it simply wanting to have sex with everyone, all the time. Join this 27-year-old New Zealander Pisces as she talks about love, obsession, self-esteem, life in the early 2000s, and the apps that just won't leave her alone. While Matafeo's first HBO Max stand-up special may or may not deliver on the horniness, it will definitely be one to remember.

Wow. Have all female comedy specials become the same? She gets up on stage, prances around, pose in what they think are "Im adorable and so cool" faces but not. They tell very few jokes with punchlines. Mainly just 3 minute whine sessions. I didn't laugh once. Very sad.

Rose tells us what it's like to be a high school kid that didn't have a boyfriend and also a (slightly unhinged) hopeless romantic. Rose rarely stops for air but it makes the show feel very authentic and natural - you can feel the awkward emotions as she tells her stories. This is the best stand-up show I've seen in 2020!
The bar for female comedians is apparently incredibly low. She is supposedly a comedian, right? Because in 35 minutes she said exactly one thing that made me chuckle slightly. That was it. All the rest was trite and staggeringly unfunny. You may say 'But it's 55 minutes long'. Yes, it is. Trust me, the 35 minutes I watched felt like an hour and 55 minutes of my life wasted. If I could give this zero stars I would.
Hilarious from start to finish, watched it twice now and somehow even better the second time! I don't understand the low reviews? Rose Matafeo is amazing, really recommend :))
