Oh wow... its a children show but didnt expect it to be very dark and scary lol. Loving the idea of helping out ghosts by breaking their curses and collecting ghost orbs (reminds me a lot of yokai watch & cardcaptor sakura). Not ideal for binge watching as it can get repetitive, especially those over-used summoning scene and shinbi magic sequence (about 4-6 times per episode, dragging on about 12 seconds each time - sick and tired of it) Great characterisations and clean & smooth animation style, hilarious design for shinbi. Falls under action-adventure genre, definitely including horror and mystery elements. Great watch for slice of life / comedic release. Huge fan of the world building and characters developments. But bunch of 5th graders having love interests doesnt sit well for me. Tbh there isnt any solid stotyline laid out, just catching random ghosts theoughout their daily life, until episode 20, the real plot which was to save kam ling's mom from the big baddie (the underground nation, worst name ever for a lucifer ripoff). This small storyline last for 4 episodes towards the end of the season 1. The ending was rushed for sure but it was a great closure for season 1 although i saw its coming (predictable). Tried to watch in its original korean version but i cant keep up with it as the voice castings were very expressive and fast. So i watched it on english dubbed, and tbh the quality of the dubbed was really good (better than the korean). Great sound scores, very creepy, chilling and giving me halloween vibe (almost as in yokai watch). Not a fan of the opening and ending song (both korean and english versions sound mediocre). Clean animation, strong world building & great for both adult and kids. Although its scary (for a childrens show) due to its sound choices, but very recommended.
The tv show is listed for Y-7... I want to start by saying that my daughter is 7. She loves the show yet it gives her nightmares and she wakes up screaming through the night terrified from the ghosts she has seen in the show. As an adult (and I would assume as a teen) this show would be completely acceptable. The storyline is entertaining even though the scenes where the goblin appears or when she is summoning ghosts gets quite repetitive. As someone who likes dark and creepy things I thought the ghosts were done well with detail and horror aspects but at the same time-- for the rating of Y-7 it is definitely not for young kids. There are decent messages throughout that would resonate with children but at the same time, the ghosts are just far too scary looking (in my opinion) for the rating that it is given.
Two kids, Ha-Ri Koo and, her little brother, Doo-ri, move into the Shinbi Apartments, where they encounter Shinbi, a 102-year-old goblin. Eating the Goblin taffy, and soon, the two start seeing ghosts (and not the kind like in Yo-Kai Watch). Now Ha-Ri and Doo-Ri are helping Shinbi keep the ghosts at bay Yeah, this cartoon, made in Korea, is basically a rip-off of Yo-Kai Watch, as Shinbi is the mentor and helper to the two, like how Whisper is to Nate, and the Ghost Ball is basically a device to summon ghosts, just like the Yo-Kai Watch. However, it's not a total rip-off. Other than Shinbi, the ghosts Ha-Ri and Doo-Ri help and befriends are not cute and mostly animal-like. They are more like the monsters you expect from magical girl and even more violent horror anime. This would make it scary for younger kids, but I suggest parents watch and decide if it's okay for them, as it does have some good stories.
can you also add other 4 seasons it has total 5 seasons
