First off the crafters taking part in this are brilliant, they are enthusiastic, hard working and deserve to have rewarding careers in they're chosen professions. One of the main reasons these crafts are in danger of dying out is because of the way they are portrayed in the media. This series Is prime example of this as it totally ignores the opportunity to promote these crafts relevance in the modern age. The one on Blacksmithing is a joke as it devoted a good chunk to farriers who are a separate trade and have no relevance to the craft of Blacksmithing. Another example is the episode on stained glass Artists which makes the viewer think they only work on old churches. This program dose more harm than good and if your interested in the future of traditional crafts don't bother watching this.
