nice movie

There's a lot of things that could have made this movie a lot better; like getting rid of the cringy German accents and the terrible CGI backgrounds. If those two things had been different from the beginning, I would have rated this movie a lot higher. The story however, is a story that should have been a movie. Just not this movie. Perhaps a movie made in Germany, by German people instead of Americans trying to be German in a studio in America.
There is nothing wrong with the movie or the content of the movie simply a beautiful story that was needed to be told the premise and the time when it occurred was just too much controversial the performances of the actors and the director is 100% Praiseworthy
But this film doesn't do it. Excruciatingly historically, geographically & aesthetically inaccurate. Absurd storyline and plot holes throughout. With these actors and the historical background it could have been so much better.
This movie hit home on so many levels as the daughter of a biracial mother. The struggles are real and raw. A brilliant movie. The pain and hurt in so many scenes in this film reiterate that the world was & still is a cruel place. Racism & prejudice still live inside so many. We are ALL human beings deserving to belong, to love & to be loved. It's a must see. I don't understand the negative reviews.
What a remarkable display of acting and cinematography. Every actor in this piece is remarkable. Undeniably hard at times but so compelling. Must be low budget as some cgi moments didn't quite have the funding but a very touching film that I would recommend.
Yet another dramatised account inside German prison of war camp that's not very believable but has a dramatic story and based loosely on facts. However the movie is good and just about watchable, if you don't think about the reality its kind of like a moden titanic within a deathcamp, how romantic. It is however a untold story of how people of colour were killed in these camps, which hasneverbeen shown before on screen. I think sex scene was not needed to establish she got pregnant.
