Oh Dear, what a terrible movie, to sum up the stupidity in one scene our hero bails out of an P51, and lands safely. Then proceeds to strip down to a snow white singlet and run around the forest like Rambo. Who in their right mind would give up camouflage whilst behind enemy lines? In the next scene our hero fights off an Nazi who looses their pistol which lands at his feet, so while the Nazi is out of reach of the pistol and lying on the ground, instead of picking up the pistol and - well I don't know - shoot the Nazi the hero runs off and the Nazi then gets to his feet picks up his dropped pistol and fires at our hero! This sums up the entire film, what a waste of time, don't bother you have been warned.
Overall this was a nice movie, if I'm being honest I only watched for my king James Maslow. He was shirtless. Me like shirtless. He also made boom boom pow pow. He will always be my captain. Make sure you guys watch him go boom boom.
Sure, there's things to be critical about. Yes, the combat was not realistic as other reviews stated. But if you want an anti-Nazi flick with maybe a hint of Chuck Norris and decent ariel combat thrown in, then it's pretty cool. The ending was feel good American heroism, if you're into that.
This movie is better than the rating it received so far. Yeah, some of the actors are a bit over the top, but the the combat sequences are good enough to keep you watching. Also, if you are into WWII era warplanes, this is a good watch.
Bad acting! These two words describe the movie in toto. The plot and storyline was good and I think it would have turned out to be a good movie only if the acting and dialogue was better.
Wow. The cheesy acting, ridiculous one liners, and over the top stereotypes. What a colossal waste of time and money. Save yourself two hours and just dont.
The only parts of the movie that are good are those where there are no people. Now the bad parts. No 1. The script. He who wrote it does not know the basics of human communication. No.2. Acting. If you can call it like that, as if a drunken group of people from the bar had found themselves and decided to make a film. No.3. Directing. He was the most drunk.
I enjoyed pretty much everything about this movie, from the actors to the storyline. As far as I know it's historically accurate and I think the writers did justice to the theme. It moved fast enough for me and the actors seemed to work really hard on all scenes. You can tell that the entire collaboration was a work of dedication.
