Very bad movie, with lots of dumb and unfunny humor. The main problem of this movie is that it tries to be a parody of the common archetypes from several fantasy flicks (Such as Star Wars, Clash of the Titans and the Lord of the Rings") but instead of being a good parody of those archetypes (like The Princess Bride or Stardust) it is a dumb comedy filled with many tasteless jokes that aren't fun at all. Actually, it feels more like a frat comedy (Such as the terrible film "The Hangover") disguised as a fantasy film. That's why this movie doesn't work at all. The bad jokes from frat comedies aren't funny at all and are very stupid. If you want to see a goo fantasy film with lots of comedy, then see movies such as "The Princess Bride" and "Stardust" and avoid this one.

All of the supposed 'jokes' hinged entirely around two ideas: Putting swearing in the middle of traditional dialogue, and bar-room humour in a historical setting. Dashes of these things here and there would have been fun, but they made no effort whatsoever to mix it up... There was no wit on display at all; anybody could have written what passed for the script, and that was just on the rare occasions that they could actually be bothered to use one. When all of the intended comedic parts belong in the same format, then it quickly gets boring for somebody on the lookout for a spot of ingenuity. It's more like a cheap home movie with people goofing off, than a fully-fledged movie... If you find the amateur quality endearing, then I suppose you might get a kick out of it, but with all the money that's spent on movies these days, I just wish they'd put in a bit more effort to have it feel less like a filmed rehearsal.

I could find nothing I liked in this film. It was not funny or interesting and at best, I was bored. The cast should be ashamed of themselves, there are some good actors here who are surely above this. Too often when films rely on improvised dialogue the result is an incoherent showcase of actors having a whale of a time while the audience are left alienated and disappointed at being left out of the joke and Your Highness is one of the worst offenders. I'm sure they had a great time making the film, but that doesn't make for an enjoyable viewing experience. Though, having said that, this film would still have been awful with a script.

This movie was exactly what I expected, and I was very entertained. There should be more of these types of movies that combine adult humor and the Medieval age together. This will be a cult classic years down the road. McBride and Franco are perfect together. Thadeous and Fabious are sons of the King. Fabious is brave and heroic, while Thadeous is a lazy slacker. On the day of Fabious and Belladonna's Wedding, an evil sorcerer named Leezar kidnaps her. The two brothers go on an epic journey to try and rescue her. Along the way, they'll have to deal with betrayal, nymphs, witches, beasts and more. If you want a silly comedy to watch with your friends, I highly recommend YOUR HIGHNESS!!!

Natalie Portman has peaked my interest. So I am watching this. I'm taking a break from long dramas and series and watching this movie. Fantasy Fiction. I hope it's up to my expectations. The beginning is so funny. Is this a comedy Fantasy Fiction....... Lol! Can't help but laugh. The webtoon type pictures are so hilarious I keep pausing to look at the pictures properly. Such funny but awesome introduction. How is Natalie Portman involved in this crazy az fantasy. I guess it's a break from her more serious roles. Is this what you call black humour or is it more like a satire? So much bad language and childlike cartoon drawing. Make your own take on those. They, the actors must have had so much fun making this. I have never, ever watched a movie like this before. It is ...... unusual and bizarre to say the least....... Lol!

There is no redeeming value in this movie. If you watched the trailer, you've seen every decently entertaining moment of the movie. The entire movie drags from the poor acting (minus Natalie Portman, the only thing worthwhile), bad accents and dialog that had to be written by a 12 year old. I'll admit that I like a good dirty joke but what we have here is random lines thrown together attempting some sort of shock value. They get the shock but its more of an, "I can't believe this movie got funding" kind of shock. By the end of this movie I was amazed at how far James Franco had fallen and also wondered why Natalie Portman would even attach herself to such a giant pile of crap. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

Someone thought lets combine a little Pineapple Express(2008), and mix in some medieval times, and what do you get, a mostly funny flick that only three main characters seem to keep this mostly interesting. What I liked was Danny Mcbride and James Franco, they where like a comedy team, where Franco was the straight man, and Mcbride was the stooge. And Natalie Portman was enjoyable has a tough take no prisoners female warrior. And I liked the way she plays it straight over Mcbrides goofiness. What I didn't like was the raunchy humor, they throw out F bombs and gross out gags at pretty much every corner, to where it leaves you no time to breath, I oftently like raunchy humor, but Your Highness really pushed way too far. And the rest of the cast are not the least bit interesting, Zoey Deschanel has one funny scene through out the whole movie, but other than that she is a boring character. The effects are alright at times. But this movie is a total waste.

I walked out of this movie. There was not a single decent joke in the entire first half of this repulsive waste of energy, and even the appearance of the beautiful Natalie Portman was not enough to keep me in it. However, for those who like pointless jokes about genitalia and excrement, look no further- This is the filth fest for you. Perhaps the greatest disappointment about this movie was the fact that it truly could have been epic. The special effects, the scenery, even the plot line- It all could have been amazing, as either an action, a fantasy or a comedy. Instead, it will go down in history as being worse- That's right, worse- Than the original Bloodrayne. Uwe Boll, make way for David Gorden Green. He'll be taking the crown for worst movies made if he keeps up like this.
