Sound is sometimes terrible. Acting also off a lot. But it has a good story and definitely nice characters like Birch, wich is the star of the movie I just don't like how much effort they've putted into making Andrew's boyfriend annoying. I can't even remember his name and I just watched it. He is extremely stereotypical to the point that is almost homophobic? An caricature. He was sure the lowest point in the movie. They didn't have to make him so unlikeble in order to justifie Andrew to cheat on him. In fact, making him interesting would give deapth to Andrews character. That being said, if you're up to an independent movie, with an almost different take on the usual gay storyline, that can be fun to watch. I don't regret having done it at all. Andrew and Birtch's actors have a weird chemistry.
It is a good film, in some measure like a good old dog, remembering its old master. Few cliches. But a story having the gift of fair simplicity and inspired light on familiar situations. Touching and seductive for gentle reflection of emotions . Two men, the return at home of one of them, the young boyfriend of him and the rabbit as pet, the shadows of past and vulnerability of each character, and traits of rivalry and the present reflected in its decisions. And, sure, Glenda Lauten and her acting as useful spice for story taste. Few scenes , grace of image, are just little gems . Some dialogues are nice kicks to reflection. In short, a good movie ,nice for the inspired emotions and for simple, precise message, a decent story and few admirable scenes. And, sure, the leather sandals, real cool inclusive for their significance. Portrait of a clash of two worlds, with same root, proposing a sketch of ideal life, dreamed by many from us, it is just a beautiful film, in pure and simple sense.
Seriously, this is hands-down one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen. There was not a single redeemable character in the entire piece-the rabbit had the right idea by leaving them all behind. And I certainly don't get the classifications of comedy and romance-there's nothing romantic about an unsupportive partner cuckolding his boyfriend and then forcing him to sit down to dinner with them, or same partner professing his remorse just to turn around and hook up with the guy again as soon as the boyfriend leaves to go start a business selling the other guy's sandles. Terrible. Just TERRIBLE movie.
Except for the bad acting of the boyfriend Jeremy Neal. The story had good potential
This was a very amateurish production that was boring beyond belief. The poor acting helped to sink it!
